Good books for Christian Couples?

My boyfriend and I are looking for a devotional book that we can study together. I’m trying to find something that will allow us both to discover more about what the other believes about different topics, but it seems that most of the couples Bible study books that I find are based on how to prepare yourself for marriage. Right now, we’re not at that point in our relationship and so I am wondering if there are any good books for couples that aren’t completely about marriage. Thanks!

It isn’t for couples and it isn’t a devotional, per se, but you could read through R.C. Sproul’s “100 Essential Truths of the Christian Faith” together. It’s brief (typically one or two pages per topic), it’s well organizes, Dr. Sproul attempts to be fair in his treatment of the more controversial topics (like Calvinism), and the relevant scriptures are cited for each topic.

Just read and discuss each topic together. It’s a great way to get a feel for each other’s beliefs and to really nail down your own theology as well.
